SRG Global is successfully delivering comprehensive concrete remediation works at Berth 1, Swanson Dock West in Melbourne designed to extend the maintenance free service life of the Berth by circa 50 years to 2073. Our ongoing work includes concrete repairs to the wharf deck and deck soffit incorporating sacrificial anode cathodic protection and repairs to concrete piles incorporating, installation of a hybrid anode cathodic protection system to ensure long-term durability. Our specialist team is also installing an impressed current cathodic protection system to the concrete fender beam, to extend its structural service life.
Leveraging our team’s specialist capabilities in designing and operating innovative access systems, we developed a fixed access platform for the fender beam and a floating, partially submersible platform for the pile and wharf deck soffit repairs. These advanced systems are facilitating efficient execution of the permanent remediation works, underscoring SRG Global’s commitment to maintaining and enhancing vital infrastructure with precision and expertise.
