SRG Global’s Specialist Facade and Structures West Teams have significantly contributed to the development of the ECU City Campus, a project poised to transform Perth’s CBD and redefine higher education in Western Australia. Our involvement included delivering the critical structural concrete and facade packages, ensuring that both structural integrity and aesthetic excellence were achieved. By employing advanced construction techniques and innovative design, we supported the architectural vision of the campus.
Our collaborative approach with Multiplex and the architectural team involved over 18 months of detailed planning and design, including the creation of a Visual Mock-Up (VMU) to test and refine the facade design. This process facilitated informed decision-making and preemptively addressed potential issues. We utilised cutting-edge technologies such as CNC machining, robotic assembly, and 3D printing in the manufacturing of facade components, ensuring precision and consistency. The installation was executed by highly skilled technicians, adhering to the latest techniques and safety protocols. This meticulous approach guaranteed that the facade is not only visually striking but also functional, sustainable, and durable.
